For a Colorado native, Mississippi is unlike anything I've ever seen before, and southern hospitality is the real deal.
From eating some of the best ribs on a sidewalk outside of Red's Juke Joint in Clarksdale to visiting Robert Johnson's grave in Greenwood - Mississippi had a lot more to offer than just the blues. Some of the nicest people I have ever met, I met out there. They were more than happy to help and had some great stories to tell you over an ice cold beer. Traveling over 3,000 miles there and back was totally worth it. The South is definitely a place to see, and for a photographer, it was heaven.
