One of the things I love the most about being a photographer is the opportunity to meet and connect with all types of people from all walks of life. All with their own story to tell and their own path in this crazy life we all share. Sometimes our paths cross in the unlikeliest of places! Thanks to being a frequent visitor at one of my favorite local watering holes, I met the incomparable Kristen. So full of life and personality and…STYLE!    I was instantly a fan of her unique and comfortable boho-inspired style, and once we got to talking I knew I had to get my lens on this girl and her look.     The beautiful Colorado scenery always proves to be the perfect backdrop for photos, and this time was no exception. Kristen looked completely at home in her boots, earth tones, and to-die-for hats.    The raw beauty of the trees, rocks, and clouds were a breathtaking match to her unconventional look. From the looks of it, you would have thought I was shooting her at home in her own backyard!  Kristen was an absolute joy to work with, and a trooper in the unpredictable Colorado weather. She braved the chill and was patient as she allowed me the honor of shooting her in her element. I can’t help but look at these pictures and hear her beloved bluegrass music or picture her on her upcoming wedding day.    This shoot was yet another reminder of why I so enjoy being a Colorado photographer. Thank you, Kristen!
